THE BOP STOP will be hosting the The Moonlight Serenaders Big Band benefit concert performance for The Music Settlement (formerly known as The Cleveland Music School Settlement) taking place on Sunday, April 28, 2024 beginning at 3pm. Recognized as Northeast Ohio’s longest continuously performing Big Band, The Moonlight Serenaders will be bringing its eighteen piece big band and four vocalists for an evening of big band favorites spanning over fifty years of traditional big band music. All tickets sales and related proceeds are being donated to The Music Settlement in behalf of the Moonlight Serenaders
The BOP STOP, Cleveland’s Premier Jazz Venue
The Moonlight Serenaders program will include music from all the traditional big bands of Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, Bennie Goodman, The Dorsey Brothers, Duke Ellington, Harry James and others taking the audience from the 1920’s through the 1950’s. Favorites from the Great American Song Book will feature the music of Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter, Nat King Cole, Henry Mancini, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.
